Teacher Appreciation In 2020!

It’s Teacher Appreciation Week
Hey Childcare Providers,
It is Teacher Appreciation Week! Although this year you may have to celebrate with your teachers a bit different that doesn't stop the celebration. Here are some ideas to get you going in the right direction!
If your school is closed
  1. Host a costume Zoom event on Friday. Teachers can dress up in a costume and come ready to listen to music and talk about their happy moments with the kids this past year.
  2. Amazon is your friend. You can send everyone a small gift as a token of your appreciation via amazon.
  3. Gift Cards are always in season. There are many stores offering virtual gift cards.
  4. Crafty! You can get creative if time is an issue. Pinterest has great ideas that you can include pictures from the school year.
  5. Send flowers to their house.
  6. Yard Signs
If your school is open
  1. Lunch on you- Buying lunch for your staff is a great way to say thank you.
  2. Gift cards- If you are able to get gift cards this is a nice gesture.
  3. Gifts from parents- Letting your parents bring in a token of appreciation for your teachers.
  4. Gifts- Giving your staff simple gifts is a great idea as well.
  5. Get flowers for them at the center.
